The best
Legacy Hotel Otres Beach has a lot going for it. The property is relatively new and the rooms are quite nice. The pool is fantastic and has the feel of a decidedly upscale property. Order a drink and lunch poolside and you are definitely feeling like you’re on holiday. Breakfast has a nice selection and is served in a pleasant air-conditioned dining area. There are free bikes to use during your stay here. Overall Legacy Hotel Otres Beach is a great value.
The worst
I don’t even know what to say for the worst part about Legacy Hotel Otres Beach. For us the location was nice. It’s about 300 meters off the beach on a road that is developing for tourism. There are further places from the beach, but there are also closer. It all depends what you’re looking for.
Internet Connection
The Internet worked fine here. Internet in Cambodia is not the best to begin with, but at Legacy it was better than average. In our four days here there was one incident when the connection was knocked offline, but it was resolved in a couple hours.

Security
The neighborhood seemed like a low-risk area and there is 24-hour security at the resort, so guests are in good hands. As with anywhere, you’d want to be vigilant coming home late at night if you’ve had too many drinks.
