Resort
Villa del Palmar at Islands of Loreto is located a half-hour drive away from Loreto International Airport, and fifteen minutes from the downtown. There are international flight from Los Angeles (LAX) once a day, and several domestic flights from other parts of Mexico. It’s also walkable from the nearby village, Ensenada Blanca.
The private beach and five different heated outdoor pools shaped like turtles are wonderful places to forget everything and see the world go by. Don’t forget to walk down to the beach and check out several water sports. You can catch the chocolate clams, go out for sea kayaking and paddle boarding, and enjoy the beach with a bowl of ceviche.
An isolated location is the best and the worst part about Villa del Palmar at Islands of Loreto. If you want to explore other parts of the peninsula, you need to hire a vehicle or arrange the pick up service. However most of the tour operators offer the shuttle from the resort. Make sure to double check.
The whole property has a Wireless Internet connection available but it works the best in the lobby area or in the balcony. It’s good enough to do essential communication, but not reliable enough for work.

Villa del Palmar at Islands of Loreto has a great value. Because of its unique and isolated location, everything in the resort is included in the package. With the private beach, you’ll feel like you’re on a deserted island.
