The Beehive’s Best

It’s is universally agreed that The Beehive is a fantastic accommodation choice in Rome. In a vast sea of dated and overpriced accommodation,  The Beehive Rome is neat, stylish, clean, and well-priced. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the privacy of our own room, but also hanging out with the other guests (and owner) in the cafe and outdoor patio.

The rooms have boutiqueish style, and nice touches like little bars of hand-made soap. The location, two blocks from the train station is quite convenient. The staff is really generous with their suggestions and recommendations around Rome. They’ve even written an awesome guide to Rome for their guests!

The Beehive’s Worst

The Beehive has a good veggie-friendly cafe, but not a kitchen. Management is up-front about this and suggests their very nearby Honey – Clover & Acacia Guestrooms for guests who wish to have a kitchen available for use.

The reception is only staffed between 7 am-11 pm. Again, management makes this clear, so if you are arriving late you’ll need to contact them to make arrangements.

Internet Connection

The Beehive has a reliable internet connection that is strong enough most everywhere on property.

Editor’s pick

Yes, yes, and yes. We love the Beehive and would return again. Excellent combination of good value, friendly atmosphere, and decent location make staying at the Beehive a no-brainer.
