Our Pic of the Day: Skógafoss Waterfall Iceland

Iceland is famous for its raw natural beauty. It seems as if every corner of this island nation is crammed with some kind of incredible feature: be it a glacier, natural spring, volcano, rock formations, or a waterfall.

This photo is of Skógafoss Waterfall, in the south of the country. Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, dropping 60 meters. Due to the mist it constantly spreads, a rainbow is usually visible on sunny days.
