Dolac Market Zagreb

Our Pic of the Day: Dolac Market Zagreb

Dolac Market Zagreb is a farmer’s market located in the Upper town only steps away from the city’s main square. It’s known for its traditional open market and indoor stalls as well. A line of flower vendors lines the passageway from the square to the market. Outside you’ll find eggs, and fruits and vegetables depending on the season. Inside you’ll find baked goods, meat, cheese, fish, and other fresh products. Most of the produce is brought in daily from the outlying villages and the seafood, of course, from the coast. Despite the distance, it’s still very fresh.
Dolac Market Zagreb is a great place get a feel for the local vibe in Zagreb. Despite it being such a big city and the market so central, its not as touristy as you would think. Have a walk through Dolac Market Zagreb the next time you’re in the capital of Croatia.
